Paris St Germain have sacked France midfielder Vikash Dhorasoo after he publicly challenged coach Guy Lacombe, the Ligue 1 club said on Wednesday.
‘PSG confirms that Vikash Dhorasoo’s contract has been terminated,’ a club spokesman said without elaborating.
In an interview published by sports daily L’Equipe last month, Dhorasoo disputed Lacombe’s tactics after he was dropped from the main squad and sent to play for PSG’s amateur team.
Dhorasoo said he felt humiliated and called the coach ‘a liar’ after which the player was summoned by club chairman Alain Cayzac, who suspended him until further notice.
